Sustainable Land Use and Economic Development
Growth is inevitable, but sustainable growth is imperative. Sustain SC supports sustainable land use and development practices at a local and state-wide level. In 2026, Sustain SC will continue to work with stakeholders to assist with smart planning, and large-scale site selection, ensuring that environmental priorities align with economic opportunities across South Carolina.
Resilience + Conservation Accelerator
Sustain SC is collaborating with SCOR, as well as businesses and organizations in the industry and conservation sectors, to focus on more than just mitigating environmental issues, but shifting to land and water protection. By investing in conservation initiatives throughout the state, these joint efforts will reduce risk, encourage opportunities and protect South Carolina’s natural and cultural heritage for future generations.
