Sustain SC is working to enable transparent and reliable data for our members.

Approximately 80% of industries in South Carolina are actively assessing, tracking and completing required reporting of their impacts and outcomes.

Sustain SC is collaborating with both industry and conservation partners to enable transparent and reliable data that reflect the unique needs, goals, and natural resources of our state.

We want to attract new sustainable industries and retain South Carolina’s high school and college graduates who, as studies show, prefer to work for companies engaged in planning and implementing sustainable solutions.

 

Sustain SC Sr. VP Cynthia Davis joined SC Rep. Mark Willis and the SC Department of Commerce Recycling Market Development Advisory Council for a tour of United Catalyst Corporation in Fountain Inn.

Strategic Actions

TOGETHER, OUR ACCELERATOR WORKING GROUP IS ADVANCING THE FOLLOWING INITIATIVES:

  • Supporting members with access to reliable and transparent data related to resilience, energy, water, recycling and waste.

  • Increasing the ability of South Carolina companies and suppliers to track and meet their required environmental and operational regulations.

  • Supporting suppliers with Business to Business Networking events and innovation workshops.

  • Positioning South Carolina as a leader by equipping economic developers with clear, accessible energy, water and waste metrics and resources that are relevant to businesses
